Welcome, thank you for visiting my website. My name is Katarzyna Inglot and I am a therapist providing counselling and psychotherapy to adult individuals in London.
Raising awareness, developing personal growth, and release from suffering are core to my therapeutic approach. In doing so, I provide an empathic, non-judgmental, confidential space for clients where they can share their experiences. I focus on the exploration of the inner world of the client, as well as how the client relates to people, situations and the self. The process allows to reveal the subconscious, repetitive patterns, enabling the process of healing, transformations and changes to emerge. So, the clients can approach any situation from a more mindful state, build their resilience and empowerment, be able to regulate difficult feelings and thrive in their lives.

Release From Suffering
An integrative framework informs my work. It evolves from holding a balance between psychodynamic and transpersonal approaches, as foundational components of my approach. I recognise the therapeutic relationship as the heart of the therapy.
My main focus is on exploring clients’ inner world, including early experiences as these shape how we relate to others, self and situations in adulthood - the past informs the present; the core elements which I also consider relate to the systemic and familial, cultural, religious, and transgenerational lenses.
Also, I apply a trauma-informed approach, so I adapt the interventions in the context of the individual’s trauma history, triggers, and specific needs of the clients. The core approach I utilise is the Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment, invented by an international expert on the treatment of trauma Dr Janina Fisher. The approach considers working with parts of the self and addressing the challenges of treating self-destructive behaviours.
I expand my framework with the tools and principles from other approaches including the Attachment Theory, phenomenological stance, cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centred approach, and the finding of neuroscience.
I strongly consider that the difficulties clients experience, through the process of healing, can guide them towards deepening their understanding of themselves and living more authentically and in accordance with their feelings, beliefs, and values.
Core components of my approach:
I continue professional development; I draw from the findings and principles presented by many specialists including Dr Bessel van der Kolk, Dr Gabor Maté, Dr Janina Fisher, Louis Cozolino, Alice Miller, to name a few.
Supervision is an integral part of my work.

I began my personal development path several years ago. Through these years I have been consistently continuing the self-discovery journey, deepening my self-awareness, my relationships with others, and many other aspects present in my life. Simultaneously, I have been in the process of professional development. By attending many schools and workshops internationally, I had an invaluable opportunity to experience and learn many therapeutic approaches. It led to the emergence of my integrative framework today. The personal and professional processes were the key elements in the preparation around accompanying human beings in their transformational journeys.
I graduated with a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling, then subsequently with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute in London, UK. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy: Social Rehabilitation in Poland.
Previously, I graduated with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling: addiction prevention and recovery treatment, from the Psychology Applied Institute in Poland. I'm in the process of certification from Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment, developed by Dr Janina Fisher, also Compassionate Enquiry by Dr Gabor Mate.
I deepened my therapeutic experience by working as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in a few services such as Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service, Mind, The Awareness Centre, Enable, and Keysteps Wellbeing service.
Additionally, I had an opportunity to expand my experience of working in recovery settings, where I worked with both young people and adults with substance misuse issues. Also, I was supporting survivors of gender-based violence including domestic violence, especially supporting clients around risk management and safety planning, using a trauma-informed approach.
